Assalamualaikum wr. wb and good morning

First, I want to thank you for the opportunity that has been given to me. My name is Nurfadillah, I’m from XI exact 1. Today I’m going to deliver a speech about something very familiar in our school that is cheating.

If we hear word ‘cheat’, usually we’ll relate that automatically to one of student’s habits. Because, cheating among students is something that we used to see or even become a culture that unavoidable. In fact, I even ever seen and heard that some students didn’t regret what they had done, even though when the teacher already caught them doing it. That sometimes make me think that their shame has gone and don’t care what will other people think about them.

What is the background of cheating? I think, they only do it because they want to get a good grade, especially on exam.  But after they have a good grade, what will they get, satisfaction? Honestly, if I get a good grade because of cheating, I won’t feel satisfy as much as when I’m doing it with my own power.

Actually, the teachers give students the exams are only to test the students’ capability. If they get a good grade, than the teachers will think that the students already understand the entire lesson and don’t have to repeat the lesson, although what happened is the opposite of it. So who is the one that lose? The students, right? How they don’t, they’re the one that cheat when they actually need more explanation about the lesson from the teachers.

That is true, that we can get the lesson not only from the teachers, but we also can learn on our own, read books, or ask other friends. But surely, not all students are like that. Instead they usually ignorant and will realize how bad is cheating when they face the real exam such as national exam.

So the point is, from now on we have to erase the culture of cheating from ourselves. By study over again about the lesson that we have learned at school. So that when the exams come we don’t have to work so hard to get a good grade.
